Digital Design Engineer

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum BSEE with related experience (5+ years preferred) in hardware development. Candidates with more experience will be considered for more senior-level engineering positions as well.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residents only
• Good knowledge of digital device characteristics, design and simulation tools, laboratory instruments and high speed digital circuit layout and fabrication techniques.
• Experience with Or cad SDT, Timing Designer Software or equivalent. (timing waveforms and timing analysis).
• Experience using SDRAM's, SRAM's, 1553, PCI interfaces, PowerPC is a plus.
• Experience with FPGA, CPLD, and VHDL is a plus.
• Space hardware and radiation background a plus
• Self-directive person with ability to handle a dynamic work environment.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holders only.

Position Responsibilities:

• Single board computer (SBC) high speed digital design.
• Component selection, worst-case analysis, power analysis.
• Test plan and procedure development.
• Defining requirements, specifications, and procedures to support testing requirements.
• Formal design reviews. Signal integrity analysis, (such as HyperLynx boards, lines).
• Revision control of designs.
